Are you using any nicotine replacement? I have used the patches and the physical withdrawal has not been bad at all. The patches release nicotine into the system at a steady pace all throughout the day. I have been smoke-free for 28 days. Reply to this

If you're not using any nicotine replacement (patches, gum, lozenges) then the physical symptoms of withdrawal should clear up around 30 days or so. Everyone experiences different levels of withdrawal based on different biological processes but the body will have adapted by the end of one month. Also, that doesn't mean that cravings will go away, but they will become less frequent and intense.

Hi, I am writing to give you hope. I just celebrated my 72nd Birthday and, thanks to this program, I have been a non-smoker for 2 years and 4 months. I had smoked one pack a day for 50 years!
It is not easy...you have to be ready to stop (attitude.) You need to find ways to exercise or keep busy...instead of thinking about cravings. Each of us finds our own way along this path. But it gets better!bJust never pick up another cigarette, or you are TOAST!
SO wonderful to read your post and see that you are still smoke free! You are truly an inspiration to all who are trying to quit. Keep up the GREAT work!
