I'm sorry that we cannot post your response. Chantix is a prescription medication used in tablet form. I believe you are thinking about the gum here.

I have also had this problem, especially during the morning dose. If I take it after eating breakfast (something more than juice or yogurt)I find the symptoms are greatly diminished or not there at all. I think peanut butter toast does the trick.
