Problems with Chantix...

I've been trying Chantix but it seems to be really upsetting my stomach. Have any solutions?

Make sure you take it at the end of your largest meals of the day. That has helped my considerably.

Christina, are you chewing Chantix like chewing gum? If you don't park it in your cheek, it will nauseate. The nicotine absorbs into your system through your gums almost sublingually.

      Hi Susan.
I'm sorry that we cannot post your response.  Chantix is a prescription medication used in tablet form.  I believe you are thinking about the gum here.

I have also had this problem, especially during the morning dose. If I take it after eating breakfast (something more than juice or yogurt)I find the symptoms are greatly diminished or not there at all. I think peanut butter toast does the trick.
    Hang in there.
